“Steve Patmagrian and Scott Hamblin are on the left, then Tracy Lakes the sax player. I think Steve was one of the founding fathers…. I would imagine he and Scott are still in Sarasota.”

1982

August 10, 2008

“The Scinta brothers are on the outside right and left. Pat Wojo (Wojciechowski) is in the center back. Steve Gaines (he later changed his last name, I think) is in the center wearing the vest. I think that´s Martin Taylor to his left. Some of these guys I just cant make out, some I flat out cannot remember their names. It´s been 15 years… if I can find my pledge book that may clear out my memory some.”

From left to right middle row: Steve Patmagrian, Dan Mattei (with bat), Tracy Lakes (with beard), Mark Vantine (sleeveless shirt). Dan Green (center with v-neck t-shirt and staff). The guy with the beard next to Dan is Steve…, next to him is David Weaver (white shirt), then Phillip Steiner, (staff over shoulder). The guy holding a bat in a phalic gesture is Ken Bieber, next to him is Mark Frankel (Staff in right hand beer in left), the last guy on the right with the white sleeveless shirt is Anthony…. In the front row on their knees are the pledges (there were only 3) right to left: Mike Somebody, Bill Donovan, and Jerry Colver. The back row gets tougher right to left: Behind Tracy Lakes is Dwayne King, then in the beard is Tom Royal, then Scott Hamblin and another guy in a hat (don´t know), then Joe Palermo (behind David Weaver), then Steve Guthrie (between/behind Phillip Steiner and Mark Frankel), then John Dame (Staff in hands above head) and finally Jerome Beck (far right).

1992 ASB Reunion

August 10, 2008

The ASB Reunion was put together to notify brothers about the transition that ASB was making into Phi Delta Theta, and to invite any alumni to join us in that changover. It was held at one of the pavilions on Siesta Beach, where we went swimming, played volley ball, and had a bar-b-que, all while indulging in the fraternity beer and reminicing about old times. Several of the original founding fathers, including Bill Silleski, were in attendance. The event was successful, and everyone left hoping to have another in the future. If anyone is interested in organizing another reunion, (besides a commencement trip down the Peace River) just let me know.
